San Juan One is a 113-unit affordable family housing community in Sacramento that brings new life to a long-underutilized urban site along Stockton Boulevard. The development includes a balanced mix of 39 one-bedroom, 40 two-bedroom, and 34 three-bedroom apartment homes designed to serve a range of household sizes and needs.
Built on the former San Juan Motel property, the project transforms a site once affected by vacancy, illegal dumping, and encampments into a vibrant residential community. This redevelopment replaces blight with stable housing, converting an existing infill location into a high-quality neighborhood asset for Sacramento families.
By reusing existing infrastructure and reinvesting in a well-located urban corridor, San Juan One supports smart-growth principles while strengthening the surrounding community.
