About Us

Sunseri Construction, Inc. is a general contracting company with operations in California and Nevada.  Founded in the early 1970’s, Sunseri has a mission to serve organizations providing affordable and senior housing.  This mission has been realized with the construction of over five thousand units of housing for seniors, families, homeless individuals and people needing assistance.  We employ an average of 35 people and service both California and Northern Nevada.  With annual revenues averaging over thirty million, Sunseri has the depth of resources and a commitment to affordable and senior housing that will carry its mission forward for many years.

The company is led by Donny Lieberman, President and CEO.  Donny has been active in housing advocacy since the early 1980's and is a member and contributor to numerous organizations, including:

Sunseri negotiates 95% of our projects, partnering with our clients in the early stage of project inception.  We assist in developing the proram, budgets, scheduling and value engineering.  We provide these pre-construction services to our clients in an effort to assist in making the project come to fruition.  We understand the funding intricacies of our projects and have sophisticated systems in place to manage the wage, hiring, and reporting requirements.  Sunseri has long standing and excellent relationships with HUD, Nevada Housing Division, CalMortgage, CalHFA, SHRA, FmHA and with the major lenders servicing affordable housing providers.

Sunseri has a company philosophy that supports hiring practices to promote disadvantaged businesses and individuals.  We are proud of our record of success over the past two decades in achieving both MBE/WBE participation as well as Section 3 hiring that affirms our philosophy.
